Please Note: Orientation to Mentoring is open to the public. All are welcome! Other programming is reserved for participants in the mentoring program.

New Mentor Trainings:
Unless otherwise noted, all trainings are held at Mercy Connections, 346 Shelburne Rd, Burlington

Orientation to Mentoring: Open to the Public
April 16, Wednesday / 5:30p.m. to 7:30p.m.
Come and learn about our program. Hear the stories of both mentors and mentees.

Training #1: Understanding Your Mentee
April 23, Wednesday / 5:30p.m. to 8:00p.m.
Facilitator: Kim Bushey, substance abuse counselor, expertise in trauma, abuse and addiction

Training #2: Mentoring Relationship, Communicating for Empowerment
April 30, Wednesday / 5:30p.m. to 8:30p.m.
Facilitator: Terri Scott Cameron, senior case worker at probation parole office, expertise in co-occurring disorders

DOC Volunteer Orientation and Tour:
Dale Facility in Waterbury
May 7, Wednesday / 5:30p.m. to 7:30p.m.
