Women's Small Business Program

Helping women turn a business dream into reality

• 1000 plus women have learned the language and skills of running a business since WSBP began in 1989
• 43 women have attended classes through WSBP in the last year
• 51% of the Burlington women in the program this last year qualified as low income

Advocacy

Bringing people together to work for systemic change

• 23 presentations through Video Voices, "Imagine If You Were Poor Like Me" made to businesses, colleges and non-profits
• Collaborations with United Way, Vermont Works for Women, The Chamber and Champlain College to program for cross cultural best practices
• Cultural sensitivity training within the District Court House
